Manchester United ‘leading the race’ to sign Max Aarons and other transfer rumors

Manchester United are reportedly in pole position to sign Norwich City full-back Max Aarons.

According to The Sun, United are in the driving seat, ahead of Arsenal, in the quest to sign Aarons this summer. The 22-year-old’s current deal at Carrow Road expires in 2024 and his side’s potential relegation has alerted the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

United will wait for the approval of Erik ten Hag before making any transfer moves. The Dutchman is expected to take the reins from Ralf Rangnick this summer.

Bailly has managed just four Premier League appearances this season and is believed to be disappointed at his lack of playing time. The 28-year-old still has another two years left on his contract at United and has previously been linked with the likes of AC Milan and Roma.
