Banks, airlines, television networks and health care systems in countries around the world that rely on Microsoft 365 applications reported widespread outages Friday.
Thousands of flights and train services have been cancelled across the United States and Europe.
Microsoft 365 said on social media that it was “investigating an issue impacting users’ ability to access various Microsoft 365 applications and services” and that the situation was improving as the company worked to “redirect affected traffic to healthy infrastructure.”
