Jack Flaherty is widely expected to be available before Tuesday’s 6 p.m. ET trade deadline, with multiple suitors vying for his services.
Jon Heyman and Joel Sherman of the Post reported Monday that the Tigers ruled Flaherty out of his Monday start to ensure he is healthy before Tuesday’s deadline, with several teams believed to be suitors, including the Yankees, Dodgers and Braves, among others.
The price is expected to be high and could go up until the deadline while teams negotiate/
According to the bookmakers at DraftKings Sportsbook, the Astros and Dodgers are currently the favorites to land Flaherty, followed closely by “any team” not listed (+350) in the odds chart below.
The Braves, who have also been busy, are the fourth favorite to land Flaherty after absorbing the high salaries of Jorge Soler and Luke Jackson.
