A young mother-of-two’s breasts fell out of her low-cut top as she threw stones at a neighbour’s window in a drunken rage, a court has heard.

Aimee Murphy, 22, suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction after bending over to pick up stones, becoming angry when told off for making noise in the street where she lived at 5am on May 3.

Bethany Morse had asked Murphy to keep quiet, but ended up filming the fight and captured footage of the 22-year-old’s breasts falling out of her halter top before she hurriedly put them back in place.

Murphy repeatedly threw broken tiles and other stones at the property until one of them broke a window. Miss Morse was injured when one of them hit her in the shin.

Murphy, from Netherton, Merseyside, had been drinking vodka with friends before the incident that led to her arrest. She insisted she had no memory of what happened and claimed her drink had been spiked.

At Sefton Magistrates’ Court, Murphy admitted the assault and will be sentenced later and faces up to 16 weeks in prison under sentencing guidelines.

Angela Blackmore, prosecuting, said: “Miss Morse lives in a flat with her partner and she indicated there was an ongoing problem between the neighbours. On May 3, at 5am, they were in bed when they were woken by a disturbance outside.

“Miss Morse went to the window. Two women were screaming in one of the other apartments. They seemed drunk or under the influence of something.

“She didn’t understand what was being said. There was talk of someone smoking drugs. They were yelling at one of the residents to come down.”

Eventually, Ms More looked out of the window after there was a knock on the shared door and shouted at them to leave, Ms Blackmore said.

She continued: “The defendant approached the window. She did not understand what she was saying.

“A man approached her and asked her to stop recording. Ms Morse was recording the incident on her mobile phone. He told her to stop recording because he was out on bail.

“The defendant picked up a large object and threw it at the living room window. Initially, this did not cause any damage. She took the objects back. Although the man tried to push her away, she continued. The police were called at this point. The defendant moved away.

“She then picked up a tile from the roof and threw it at the window of the bedroom where the complainant was standing.

“She picked it up and threw it several times. The fourth time the window cracked. She threw it six more times until the window broke. Ms. Morse was standing by the window filming. The man tried to stop the defendant. She continued to push him away.”

Several objects flew through the window, including one that struck Ms. Morse, causing bruises.

The fight had lasted about 30 minutes before police arrived, Ms Blackmore said.

She continued: “The defendant was interviewed by police. She said she had been out with friends in South Road, Waterloo. She had been drinking vodka. She had not taken any drugs.

“She doesn’t remember coming home. She was shown the footage, she was shocked. She had no memory of what happened. She said her behaviour was completely out of character. The accused has no previous convictions.”

Ms Blackmore showed the court a short video clip of the incident taken on Ms Morse’s phone. The victim was standing at her first-floor window. Murphy, who was wearing a black halter top, was picking up items from the floor and throwing them at the window.

As she leaned over, her breasts fell out of her top and she had to put them back in place. Through the broken glass, she could then be heard telling Miss Morse to move away from the window.

He could be heard saying “Go on” as Ms. Morse walked away from the window and backed into her apartment and an object flew through the window.

Murphy’s lawyer, Peter White, said in mitigation: “The defendant had been drinking alcohol in the early hours of the morning and she does not remember returning to her home. She believes someone may have slipped something into her drink but she cannot do more than that.

“She wouldn’t recognize the lady captured on video. That’s not how she usually behaves.

“She has two children, aged five and two, but the local authorities intervened because of the domestic violence she suffered. The children live with their grandmother and she is doing her best to turn her life around and make a difference.”

Ms White said she had applied for a job as a carer for the elderly and was currently awaiting a DBS check. She did not yet know whether the assault would affect her job prospects.

He added: “She is currently on universal credit. She made realistic admissions during police interview. I understand the images are extremely unattractive but she is a quick pleader. There has been no offence since and there has been no problem since. This will not happen again.”

Murphy was released on bail ahead of sentencing at Liverpool Crown Court on August 14.
