Noah Schnapp Says Things Between Him and Doja Cat Are “All Good” After He Posted Their DMs

Noah Schnapp assured his fans that there’s no bad blood between him and Doja Cat after the pop star called him “socially unaware and wack” last week on social media.

The Stranger Things star posted a video to his TikTok account on Wednesday night of himself playing a math quiz game and challenging his followers to beat his high score, all set to a sped-up version of Doja’s song “Kiss Me More.” He also took the opportunity to clear up any misconceptions about their current dynamic, commenting on the clip, “Guys everything is all good I apologized and I still follow her and love her music no hard feelings,” adding two red heart emojis.

This update comes one week after Schnapp and the musician got in to a minor altercation online due to the actor’s decision to share some of their private messages in a TikTok. In the since-deleted video, the actor posted screenshots of a conversation in which Doja is asking about the relationship status of his co-star, Joseph Quinn, who plays Eddie Munson on the new season of the show. “Noah can you tell Joseph to [hit me up],” she wrote, before adding, “Wait no. Does he have a girlfriend?” The actor replied, “LMAOO slide into his dms.” But Doja said she couldn’t find any of Quinn’s social media accounts, prompting Schnapp to send her a link to his Instagram profile.

While this isn’t exactly the first time the pop star has expressed her interest in Stranger Things’ newest star—she also tweeted on May 30, “joseph quinn fine as shit”—she still didn’t take too kindly to having her DMs suddenly exposed to the public. In an Instagram Live last Thursday, Doja said, “I think that to be fair, first, let’s try to be chill about it. Like Noah is a kid, but, I don’t even know how old he is, but like there’s no way he’s over 21. When you’re that young, you make mistakes, you do dumb shit. I’m trying to be super fair…You’re supposed to do stuff like that so that you know not to do it in the future. I did my share of fuck-ups so that I don’t fuck up again.” However, at the same time, she labeled the move “unbelievably socially unaware and wack,” adding, “That’s like borderline snake shit. That’s like weasel shit. I’m not saying that encapsulates his entire personality. I wouldn’t imagine he is. Maybe he is, like, a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing.”
