Sam Whitney
Sam Whitney has been hired by the New York Times Opinion as the art director of the design team.
Previously, he was a senior designer at Wired in San Francisco, where he designed, illustrated and art-directed its printed pages and website. Whitney’s conceptual storytelling talent has been recognized by AIGA and the Society of Publication Designers.
He received his Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University, majoring in Communication Design with a minor in Political Studies.
