Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a new photo of their son Prince George to mark his 11th birthday on Monday.
“Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!” the Prince and Princess of Wales captioned the image, which was shared on X and Instagram.
In this black and white shot, the future king looks all grown up as he is seen wearing a suit over a crisp white shirt as he smiles at the camera.
Additionally, George’s mother, who is an avid photographer, is credited with taking this lovely photo in Windsor earlier this month.
It didn’t take long for fans to rush to the comments section to point out the striking resemblance between George and his father, the Prince of Wales, 42.
“A handsome young man! He looks so much like his father.✨,” wrote one fan.
Another wrote on Instagram: “Prince George looks so much like his dad 😍😍😍.”
“What a handsome young man, growing up so fast. Well done William and Catherine,” added a third.
George has been in the spotlight more often of late, cementing himself as a member of the cabinet.
Having taken on a prominent role at the coronation of his grandfather, King Charles, in May 2023, as one of his pages of honour at the coronation ceremony, George has been entrusted with an increasing number of royal engagements.
This year alone he has taken on a more prominent role within the family, appearing at the Trooping the Colour ceremony last month, where he joined his family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
The following month, George travelled to Berlin, Germany, with his father, Prince William, where the couple attended the EURO 2024 final, where England faced Spain in the football match.
The news comes after George’s sister, Princess Charlotte, celebrated her ninth birthday on May 2.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have shared a sweet photo of the royals posing in their garden on their special day.
“Happy 9th birthday, Princess Charlotte! 🎂 Thank you for all the kind messages today,” they captioned the photo.
His birthday came just over a week after his younger brother, Prince Louis, celebrated his 6th birthday.
