Princess Eugenie Shares Unseen Photos of Princess Beatrice on Her 34th Birthday

After a summer full of appearances at events like the Royal Ascot, the Platinum Jubilee, and the Glastonbury Festival, Princess Beatrice celebrated her 34th birthday on Monday. To mark the occasion, her sister, Princess Eugenie, took to Instagram to celebrate, wishing her “sissy” a happy birthday and sharing a few photos that depict their close relationship, including a snapshot that shows them posing with a sign promoting Eugenie’s podcast Floodlight. One of the photos also provided an unseen glimpse at a Platinum Jubilee luncheon with cousin Zara Tindall.

In the photo, Beatrice is wearing the floral Vampire’s Wife dress that she was spotted in during Trooping the Colour in June, and Zara is wearing the red dress she later posted to her Instagram. Though the three cousins did not participate in the official program of the day or appear on the balcony, they were spotted watching the parade at the Household Cavalry museum along with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. There was reportedly a family luncheon at Windsor Castle after the event, where Queen Elizabeth was first introduced to her namesake, Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.

The post also shows Beatrice and Eugenie in the bright blue and orange outfits they wore during the Jubilee’s service of thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Their mother, Sarah Ferguson, was watching the service from home, and afterward she shared her excitement when she spotted them on her television. “Everyone else looked a bit… very serious and they were smiling and really thanking their grandmother for these 70 years,” she told Graham Norton.  “I was watching the telly like, ‘Well done girls, you’re smiling.’ I can’t get over how beautiful my girls look.”

Beatrice’s husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi also shared a message to his wife on Monday. Along with a picture of Beatrice smiling and wearing a leather jacket, he called her the “world’s best wife” and “the best mother in the world.” The couple have a 10-month-old daughter, Sienna Mapelli Mozzi, and Beatrice is the stepmother to Wolfie, Edoardo’s six-year-old son who made an appearance at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
