“I say this because I had some doubt… this little health issue that I mentioned happened about a week ago and what they called it was a minor stroke and all of a sudden – out of the blue – I had no control over that arm, so it was a little scary,” he added.

In the video, May moves his left arm and shows his fans that he is now able to use it properly.

The 77-year-old “Don’t Stop Me Now” musician went on to say he was grateful for the “fantastic care and attention” he received from healthcare staff at Frimley Hospital in Surrey, England.

Although May was hospitalized about a week ago, he shared that he didn’t want to announce his health condition and worry his fans.

“I didn’t want to say anything at the time because I didn’t want anything around me, you know. I really don’t want sympathy.”

“Please don’t do that because it’s going to clog up my inbox and I hate that,” he noted. “The good news is I’m fine. I’m just doing what I’m told, which is nothing. I’m grounded.”

The “We Will Rock You” musician listed a list of things his doctors have advised him not to do in his condition, including not driving, not flying and not raising his heart rate too high.

Representatives for May did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Concerns over May’s health come after the Queen guitarist suffered a heart attack in May 2020.

At the time, he had an angiogram at the hospital, which showed he had three congested arteries that were “at risk of blocking the blood supply to his heart.” He eventually opted to have three stents inserted.

May admitted that he “could have died” because of the condition of his arteries, something he would not have known had he not had the angiogram.
