A 39-year-old Queens man was fatally stabbed in the street by a neighbor, police said Monday.
Victim Michael Tobon was confronted by Rahmel Tedder, 30, on 175th Street near 90th Avenue in Jamaica around 4:15 a.m. Friday, police said.
Tedder lives in the neighborhood while the victim lived about three blocks away.
When police arrived at the scene, they found Tobon lying on the sidewalk with a cut to his head and multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
Tedder was arrested on charges of attempted murder, assault and weapons possession.
Doctors rushed Tobon to Jamaica Hospital, where he died the next day.
Tedder is being held without bail on Rikesr Island and is due back in Queens Criminal Court on August 27. He could now be charged with murder.
