Legendary music producer Quincy Jones died Sunday evening.
The titan, who worked with Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson and other iconic singers over the years, was 91 years old.
The Grammy winner’s publicist, Arnold Robinson, released a statement on behalf of Jones’ family members.

“Tonight, with full but broken hearts, we must share the news of the passing of our father and brother Quincy Jones,” he wrote.
“And while this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the beautiful life he lived and know there will never be another like him,” Arnold concluded.
He noted that Jones died in his Los Angeles home, surrounded by his loved ones.
The composer is survived by seven children, including 48-year-old “Parks and Recreation” actress Rashida Jones.
Jones’ other children are Jolie, 69, Rachel, 59, Martina, 58, Quincy III, 55, Kidada, 50, and Kenya, 31.
Her latest social media upload was posted on Saturday in honor of Martina’s birthday.
“Happy birthday to my Tina Beena @martinafotos1!! 🎉”, he exclaimed. “So proud to be your dad! Big hug, I love you forever 🫶🏾💜.
Although he was not married at the time of his death, Jones had previously married Jeri Caldwell, Ulla Jones and Peggy Lipton in 1957, 1967 and 1974, respectively.
Jones began performing as a teenager in Seattle clubs with Ray Charles, then 16, before studying at Seattle University and Berklee College of Music.
After moving to New York, he played trumpet in Elvis Presley’s band.
In addition to arranging records for Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and other singers, including Jackson’s “Thriller,” Jones is also well known for composing the soundtracks to “Roots” and “In Cold Blood.”
He was nominated for 80 Grammys throughout his career, winning 23 and receiving a Grammy Legend Award in 1992.
