The 2024 Republican National Convention begins its third day in Milwaukee on Wednesday, with some highly anticipated speeches on the agenda.
Day three of the RNC will feature remarks from some of the biggest names at the convention, including former President Donald Trump’s new running mate JD Vance, Donald Trump Jr. and more.

What time is RNC 2024?
The 2024 Republican National Convention will take place July 15-18 at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.
Wednesday’s show will likely begin around 5:45 p.m. CT.

NBC Chicago will provide live streaming of the speeches each day Monday through Thursday in the player above and on the NBC 5 Chicago News streaming channel 24/7.

Monday: 12:50-16:41, 18:00-22:00 (Central Time)

On Wednesday, July 17 and Thursday, July 18, beginning at 8 p.m. CT, NBC 5 will air live coverage of the primetime event from NBC News, featuring the evening’s keynote speakers, interviews with prominent politicians and swing voters, as well as a preview of next month’s Democratic National Convention in Chicago and the highly anticipated presidential election in November.
Who speaks at the RNC?
Although Trump himself is not yet scheduled to speak at the convention on Wednesday, his chosen running mate will.
JD Vance will deliver his first public speech since being named the former president’s pick for the 2024 presidential race.
Trump is not expected to speak at the RNC until Thursday evening, though it is unclear whether he will make any earlier remarks regarding his running mate announcement.
As for the lineup of speakers on Wednesday, Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., will address the crowd, along with his daughter, Kai Trump.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott also got a speaking slot.
