RFK Jr mocks Kamala Harris with ‘middle class’ chant at Michigan rally

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. involved a rallying audience in a call-and-response prank at his rally in Michigan this week.

Kennedy spoke Friday at the Falk Productions manufacturing plant in Walker, Michigan, participating in a campaign event hosted by former Republican President Donald Trump.

During the rally, Kennedy mocked Vice President Kamala Harris for her frequent references to being born “middle class” when asked to answer a tough question.

“All you need to know is seven words, and you’ll never have to admit to doing anything wrong again,” Kennedy told the Michigan audience. “And you know what those seven words are? ‘I was born middle class.'”

Kennedy asked rally attendees to repeat after him in a series of back-and-forths.

“The next time your boss asks you why you’re late for work, what will you say? » asked Kennedy.

“I was born in the middle class!” » the audience responded.

“And the next time your wife asks you why you didn’t take out the trash, what will you say?” » asked Kennedy.

“I was born in the middle class!” » the audience responded.

“That’s all you need to know and you don’t have to answer any questions!” Kennedy joked.

Sen. JD Vance, the Republican vice presidential nominee, also referenced the vice president’s tendency to bring up her middle-class roots at a rally earlier this week.

“They’re asking Kamala, of course, because she’s the vice president and she’s the reason we have skyrocketing inflation and a wide open border: ‘What are you going to do? What’s your plan? specific to resolve the inflation crisis that currently exists?’ which makes buying groceries and housing unaffordable?’ And Kamala will say, ‘Well, did you know I grew up in a middle class family, I had a really nice lawn there? -down in Berkeley, California,” he continued. “It’s like, ‘Well, that could be true. What does this have to do with lower inflation?’”
