The Northern York County School Board struck down a proposed “Satan Club” in an 8-to-1 vote on Tuesday evening. The meeting came after some parents and staff presented the club in response to a Bible study held at the Northern York Elementary School. Hundreds of people attended the meeting to share their opinions. “If you want to have a Satan club or if you have a group of parents who want to have a Satan club or want their kids raised to think that Satan is about truth or reason, do it off campus after hours, and I say the same thing to the Christian community, “said Ray Sibley, of Dillsburg.The group that introduced the” Satan Club “says they wanted to prove a point that no religious clubs should be held at the elementary school.
