This fresh production of the timeless classic musical Anything Goes was a sold out hit at the Barbican last year and will return this summer. Described as the ‘musical equivalent of sipping one glass of champagne after another’, the show is back in a limited season.
Written by Cole Porter and PG Wodehouse, it’s all hands on deck for the crew of SS American, which is in a rough lake.
Kiss all smooth sailing goodbye. The label is thrown away through the bunks as two unlikely duos sail to find the right path to true romance. As they take fate at the helm, they quickly find out that their journey could use a little help from singing and dancing sailors, farcical blackmail, a fun disguise, wonderful doubles and some timeless fun.
In the 2022 cast of Anything Goes, Kerry Ellis plays Reno Sweeney, Olivier Award winner Denis Lawson as Moonface Martin, theater legend Bonnie Langford as Evangeline Harcourt and Olivier Award winner Simon Callow as Elisha Whitney.
