A Secret Service agent landed in a sticky situation after bringing a lover to the Obamas’ beachfront property in Hawaii while protecting the ex-president in 2022, the Obama’s former girlfriend claimed law enforcement officer in new book.
“Undercover Heartbreak: a Memoir of Trust and Trauma,” written by the agent’s ex, Koryeah Dwanyen, details how the agent broke protocol in an apparent attempt to impress his then-girlfriend by sending her messages. photos of the house and even suggesting a tour of the mansion when the Obamas weren’t home, according to ABC News.
“No one will know,” the agent, whose pseudonym in the book was Dale, allegedly told him. “If anything, I’m the one who might get in trouble.”
He then reportedly said he wanted to meet Dwanyen in former first lady Michelle Obama’s bathroom.
“We should make love with Michelle [Obama]“The bathroom, like a club a mile high,” he says in the book, self-published on October 28.
A spokesperson for the US Secret Service told ABC News that an incident similar to the one described in the book did indeed occur and the agent was fired following an investigation.
“On November 6, 2022, a Secret Service agent involved in protective duties brought a person who did not have authorized access into the residence of a protected person without authorization,” the spokesperson reportedly said.
“As soon as the Secret Service became aware of the incident, the agent involved was immediately suspended and, after a thorough investigation, terminated.”
“Even though the protégés were not present at the time of the incident, these actions were an unacceptable violation of our protocols, the trust of our protégés and everything we stand for,” he continued.
Dwanyen also accused the agent of leading a double life.
She met him while vacationing on Martha’s Vineyard and he was protecting the Obamas who have a home on the posh Massachusetts island. At the time, he claimed he was divorced, but she later found out he was still married.
Dwanyen told ABC News that she eventually emailed the agent’s boss whom she had met previously about her concerns about the safety of the agent, his family and her own safety, which led to a discussion between her and other officers.
She told them he sent her photos of Alicia Keys’ house, Steven Spielberg’s boats, as well as Melinda Gates, Tyler Perry and Amal Clooney, according to the book.
She reportedly said the agent also told her about his background regarding then-Vice President Mike Pence, whom he had protected during Donald Trump’s first term, as well as information about the Obamas.
“I knew their code names. I knew what day Orange Theory was, what day [Michelle Obama] had private tennis lessons and when his personal trainer came over,” Dwanyen said, according to ABC News.
“Things I shouldn’t have known about as a civilian.”
The Secret Service came under the microscope after a gunman managed to shoot Trump during a campaign stop in Pennsylvania in July. Trump was shot in the ear while a rally attendee was killed in a hail of bullets.
