A Stoughton man, who was previously convicted of multiple counts of sex trafficking, pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to sex trafficking four women after his release from prison in 2021.
Marvin Pompilus, 39, pleaded guilty to four counts of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and cocaine, according to the office of Acting Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Joshua Levy. Pompilus was arrested on these charges in November last year.

Previously, Pompilus was convicted in February 2018 in Suffolk Superior Court of multiple counts of trafficking a person for sexual servitude and supporting prostitution. He served six years in prison and was released in October 2021.
Prosecutors said he “almost immediately” returned to sex trafficking, using physical and sexual violence, verbal abuse and withholding drugs from his drug-addicted victims to force them to engage in commercial sex acts, collecting all the money. money for himself.
Pompilus could be sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for the charges to which he pleaded guilty; he will return to court for sentencing on January 23.
