Two Suffolk pubs have been nominated for a prestigious food and beverage award.
Maldon Gray in Sudbury and The Lion Brassière in East Bergholt have been nominated for this year’s favorite destination pub in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire by Muddy Stilettos.
The category has been described as people’s favorite place, food or beer garden, which makes visiting the pub a special trip.
The lion’s brasserie is also nominated for the award

The five pubs that have been nominated for the award were selected by the readers of Muddy Stilettos.
Sudbury’s Maldon Gray has recently been taken over, with owners Beckie and Tony Bayliss promising to bring a “family feeling” to the pub.
Lion Brassiere is a luxury bar located in the heart of Constable Country near Ipswich.
Voting lasts until 17 on Wednesday 15 June with the winners announced on the Muddy Stiletto website on Tuesday 21 June.
