The bell rings again for you.
A beloved menu item from the 1990s is being revived at Taco Bell — but you’ll have to act fast to devour one.
The double-decker taco, an outer flour tortilla covered in refried beans that wraps around a hard-shell taco, is back in limited release through October 30.
A supreme option with sour cream and diced tomatoes is also available.
Retailing for $2, the double-decker taco was first offered as a limited-time offer in 1995 and became a permanent menu item in 2006, according to “Today.”
Previously, the stacked entry was brought back for a limited run in late 2023, after losing a 2022 revival contest to the enchirito.
Despite failing with non-fans, high demand prompted Taco Bell to relaunch the double-decker delight.
The fast food chain recently leaned into a menu steeped in nostalgia by reviving a staple from every decade dating back to the 1960s.
It includes green burritos, meximelts and caramel apple empanadas.
The move also comes after Taco Bell gave franchise owners the choice to no longer offer breakfast items.
