She gets rid of it.
Taylor Swift handled a stage malfunction like a pro during her third and final stop on the Eras Tour in New Orleans on Sunday night.
According to videos shared online, as the Grammy winner performed the first verse of her 2024 hit “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” ”, the silver reflective platform – nicknamed “Tayoomba” – suddenly stopped working in the Caesars Superdome.
As she sang, “So tell me it’s not all about me,” the floating contraption didn’t move to the beat.
Swift, 34, played the part, dancing and singing as her dancers swayed around the platform.
The “Bad Blood” singer then jumped off the “Tayoomba” and danced on the catwalk while her dancers moved the platform off stage.
Swift was then forced to perform to hit “Down Bad” without a platform for the very first time.
The pop star performed three concerts in the Big Easy on October 25, 26 and 27.
Although her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, couldn’t support her for her concerts due to his current NFL season, her friends Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds attended not one, but two of the three shows.
The couple – who married in 2012 – packed on the PDA as they danced and sang along to Swift’s most popular songs.
The billionaire singer apparently had the Kansas City Chiefs star, 35, on her mind during her show Friday night when she gave him a sweet nod while singing the outro to “Midnight Rain.”
Swift appeared to act like she was throwing a football, which sparked excitement from her crowd of fans who thought the move was a gesture toward Kelce.
The “Cruel Summer” singer’s Eras tour continues Friday with three back-to-back shows in Indianapolis.
