A teenager was injured in a shooting on the city’s Far South Side Saturday, Chicago police said.
Authorities said the teen was injured around 4:15 p.m. in a parking lot in the 10200 block of South Cottage Avenue, a short distance from Gately Stadium, when a gunman inside a white vehicle opened fire.
The teenager, who was shot in the abdomen, was rushed to Comer Children’s Hospital in serious condition, police said.
No arrests have been made as an investigation by detectives is ongoing, police said.
