(Reuters) – The Federal Trade Commission said on Tuesday that it had launched an investigation into the ongoing shortage of breast milk substitutes in the United States.
“The inquiry seeks information about the nature and prevalence of any misleading, fraudulent or otherwise unfair business practices for the purpose of benefiting families under this deficiency,” the FTC said on its website.
