A young man who tried to sneak home after leaving a pub hours after his parents’ curfew was filmed crawling on the floor.

The 20-year-old returned home after a night out at the pub with friends. He had been told to come home around midnight as he had to meet his father at work from 7am.




However, the night got away from him and he ended up at a friend’s house after the pub closed and arrived home at 3.48am on July 20.

Hilarious doorbell footage shows him crawling on the floor to avoid being seen by the camera. The youngster, who lives with his two siblings and parents in Stockport, said: “Things got crazy that night.”

“I was thinking of going home at midnight after the pub closed. But a friend of mine was having some friends over and I couldn’t say no.”

The young man didn’t go to his father’s work the next day and became the laughing stock of the family chat group. He said: “I’m pretty sure my dad opened my bedroom door, smelled the beer and left me alone.”

“My mom then posted a screenshot of me crawling away, explaining that there had been an attempted burglary. I knew she was joking and once we talked she could see the funny side of it.”
