Hours after it was announced that Gisele Bündchen and her boyfriend Joaquim Valente were expecting their first child together, the model’s ex-husband, retired NFL legend Tom Brady, had something to say on his Instagram.
Brady, who is not new to posting cryptic Instagram stories that usually coincide with the latest news about him, shared a photo of a sunset.
He chose Fleetwood Mac’s moving track “Landslide” as background noise, although the very telling lyrics were projected onto the image: “Oh mirror in the sky / What is love? / Can the child in my heart rise above / Can I sail through the changing tides of the ocean?

A representative for the seven-time Super Bowl champion did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Yesterday, the news quickly circulated that the beautiful Brazilian was pregnant. “Gisele and Joaquim are happy with this new chapter in their lives and look forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family,” a source told People magazine in a statement.
Rumors that Bündchen and Valente, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu instructor, were involved spread around the time of Bündchen’s divorce. A month after she and Brady legally divorced, she and Valente were spotted on a trip to Costa Rica. The media reported that they had a meeting.
“He is the kids and Gisele’s longtime martial arts instructor. There is no truth to the dating rumors,” a source told Fox News Digital at the time. “The photos were not taken during a romantic outing, but rather during a trip home to the Central American country,” they added.
The insider explained that in the photographs of Bündchen and Valente was another adult, Jordan, a live-in teacher to Bündchen’s children Benjamin and Vivian, both of whom she shares with Brady. Valente is the children’s physical educator. In total, six adults and eight children were making the trip.

In March, Bündchen, 44, gave some insight into her new relationship during a chat with The New York Times.
“It’s the first time I’ve seen someone who was first a friend of mine,” she told the outlet, although she didn’t name Valente directly. “It’s very different. It’s very honest and very transparent.”

In the same interview, the model refuted claims she cheated on Brady, 47, with Valente, 36.
“It’s a lie,” she said. “This is something that happens to a lot of women who are blamed when they have the courage to leave an unhealthy relationship and are called unfaithful,” Bündchen added.
“They have to take care of their community. They have to take care of their family. Of course, for me, it feels a little amplified,” she told the outlet of women fighting against the adulterous label . “No one really knows what happens between two people, only the two people involved in the relationship.”
