Trains from Portsmouth to London Waterloo will be severely disrupted for 8 days later this month

Network Rail has announced that major maintenance repairs will take place between Fareham and Eastleigh from Saturday 25 June to Sunday 3 July.

South Western Railway has warned that connections between Portsmouth Harbor and London Waterloo will be affected by the work.

The line will be completely closed between Fareham and Eastleigh for all eight days.

A replacement bus will run to take passengers to and from these stations.

A revised route will run between Fareham and Portsmouth.

From Southampton Central to Portsmouth and Southsea will continue to Portsmouth Harbor.
