Former President Donald Trump urged his supporters to turn out and vote for him at his final rally hours before polls opened on Election Day.
The Republican candidate closed out the final day of campaigning with a fourth and final rally in Grand Rapid, Michigan, that stretched into the early hours of Tuesday morning.
“It’s been an incredible journey. It’s very sad in a way, because you know, we did all this and this is the last one,” Trump said at Van Andel Arena. “But here’s the good news, all we were doing , is putting ourselves in a position to win, which we can easily do tomorrow if we show up.”
He promised to deliver a better future for the country and Michigan’s autoworkers on day one.
“We are going to do great things for Michigan,” the former commander in chief said. “We are going to give new impetus to the automotive sector. We’re going to make Detroit greater than it’s ever been.
“If we win Michigan, we win everything,” Trump added.
The 78-year-old Republican won the state in 2016 but lost it in 2020 to President Joe Biden.
He sounded optimistic early Tuesday, predicting he would defeat Vice President Kamala Harris in “the greatest victory in our country’s history” but nonetheless urged Michiganders to go to the polls.

“Would you like to vote tomorrow?” We can solve every problem facing our country and lead America to new heights of glory,” Trump said.
The 45th president pledged to secure the southern border, “end inflation very quickly” and bring back the American dream.
“We are going to transform our country. I will end inflation very quickly… And I will stop the invasion of criminals crossing our border. I will strengthen our army. I will restore peace to the world and save the American dream,” Trump told his supporters.
“Together, we will begin the greatest four years in our country’s history and launch the most extraordinary economic boom the world has ever seen.”
Most polls paint the 2024 election as a showdown between Trump and Harris on the eve of Election Day.
“To every person, to every citizen of this country, I ask for the honor of your vote,” Trump said.
“When you vote tomorrow, we can solve every problem facing our country and lead America to new heights of glory,” he added.
