Tuesday’s White Sox-Rangers game suspended – NBC Chicago

Tuesday night’s White Sox-Rangers game at Guaranteed Rate Field has been suspended, the team announced after a rain delay that lasted more than 90 minutes.

The game will resume Wednesday at 4:10 p.m. CT. Game 2 will start approximately 30 to 45 minutes after Game 1; Game 2 will not start until 7:10 p.m. CT.

Garrett Crochet threw four pitches Tuesday before the grounds crew rolled out the tarp on the field due to rain. Unfortunately, Crochet’s start is canceled. Chris Flexen will start the suspended game Wednesday. The starting pitcher for Game 2 for the White Sox has yet to be determined, but it appears to be a bullpen game, according to James Fegan of Sox Machine.

Fans who originally purchased tickets for tomorrow’s 7:10 p.m. game will be able to attend both games of the doubleheader. Season ticket, single suite and terrace ticket holders will receive a credit to their account for game tickets and parking.
