Two men were seriously injured Saturday morning while standing on a sidewalk with a group in the Bridgeport neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly after midnight, the victims were with a group gathered on the sidewalk in the 800 block of West 31st Street when someone opened fire, hitting a 31-year-old man in the left side of his neck. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
Another man, 26, was shot in the right buttock and took himself to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in fair condition, police said.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
