Two men shot, one fatally, on Bronx street corner

Two men were shot, one fatally, on a street corner in the Bronx, police said Sunday.

Sakou Saho, 31, was shot multiple times in the chest at Sheridan Ave. and McClellan St. in Concourse around 9:35 p.m. Saturday, police said. A 49-year-old man was shot in the stomach.

Medics rushed both men to Lincoln Hospital, where Saho died. The other victim was in stable condition.

Police say Saho lived in Mott Haven. Public records show he served two years in prison for a 2019 gun possession conviction in the Bronx.

He also received a $50,000 settlement following a wrongful arrest lawsuit against the city and the NYPD in 2020, the documents show.

Police have not made any arrests in the shooting.
