Two men were stabbed to death in the Bronx early Sunday — right across the street from where a man was beaten to death in February, police said.
A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen and a 27-year-old man was stabbed in the chest outside a commercial area on Stratford Avenue near Westchester Avenue in Soundview around 4 50 a.m., police said.
Medics rushed both men to Jacobi Medical Center, but they could not be saved. Their names were not immediately released.
No arrests have been made.
The killing happened just meters from where Jesus Garcia-Desiderio, 46, a father of two, was beaten to death earlier this year.
Garcia-Desiderio got into a scuffle with Alejandro Gonzalez, 23, and another man outside a restaurant around 4:40 a.m. Feb. 17, cops said. Garcia-Desiderio died three days later at Jacobi Medical Center.
Police arrested Gonzalez in Bristol, Conn., three months later and brought him back to the Bronx to face manslaughter and other charges in June.
Gonzalez remains detained at Rikers Island while awaiting trial.
