Investing.com – US equities were mixed after the close on Tuesday as gains in and sectors led equities to higher while losses in and sectors led equities to lower.
At the close of the NYSE, it rose 0.15%, while the index fell 0.81% and the index fell 2.35%.
The best performance in the session on the course was McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE :), which rose 2.74% or 6.52 points to a trade of 244.52 at the close. In the meantime Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE 🙂 added 2.03% or 1.01 points to 50.68 and International Business Machines (NYSE 🙂 increased 2.01% or 2.63 points to 133.80 in late trading.
The worst performers of the session were Walt Disney Company (NYSE :), which fell 4.01% or 4.24 points to trade at 101.59 at the close. Boeing Co (NYSE 🙂 fell 3.76% or 4.67 points to end at 119.40 and Visa Inc Class A (NYSE 🙂 fell 2.38% or 4.93 points to 202.63.
The best results on the S&P 500 were AutoZone Inc (NYSE :), which rose 5.82% to 1,910.22, O’Reilly Automotive Inc (NASDAQ :), which rose 5.02% and fell to 608.18 and Alliance Energy Corp (NASDAQ :), which rose 3.93% and closed at 61.32.
The worst performers were Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd (NYSE :), which fell 11.99% to 13.29 in late trading, DexCom Inc (NASDAQ :), which lost 11.05% to close at 288.13, and Caesars Entertainment Corporation (NASDAQ :), which was down 10.59% to 43.14 at the close.
The best results on NASDAQ Composite were Better therapy Inc (NASDAQ :), which rose 69.77% to 2.19, Americas Car-Mart Inc (NASDAQ :), which rose 30.76% to close at 99.98 and Quantum Computing Inc (NASDAQ :), which rose 25.48% to close at 1.97.
The worst performers of the session were Genocea Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ :), which fell 72.69% to 0.06 in late trading. Walkme Ltd (NASDAQ 🙂 which lost 34.43% to settle at 8.00 and TC BioPharm Holdings PLC (NASDAQ :), which fell 34.15% to 0.78 at the close.
Falling stocks were more than rising on the New York Stock Exchange by 1835 to 1329, and 133 ended unchanged; on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange, 2814 fell and 1015 rose, while 183 ended unchanged.

The shares of Genocea Biosciences Inc (NASDAQ 🙂 fell to the lowest levels of all time; loses 72.69% or 0.16 to 0.06. The shares of Walkme Ltd (NASDAQ 🙂 fell to all-time lows; loses 34.43% or 4.20 to 8.00. The shares of TC BioPharm Holdings PLC (NASDAQ 🙂 fell to the lowest levels of all time; down 34.15% or 0.40 to 0.78.
