Warner Chappell Music (WCM) and Kevin Hart’s media company HARTBEAT, have entered into an exclusive partnership for music publishing.
Under the agreement – described as “a first of its kind” for HARTBEAT – WCM will administer all copyrights to HARTBEAT’s music compositions covering future programming as well as previous works from shows such as Die Hart and Hart to Heart.
WCM will also help build HARTBEAT’s music catalog across HARTBEAT Studios, HARTBEAT Media and PULSE.
The publisher will also provide creative support for a number of music projects and access to its songwriting talent and production music library.
HARTBEAT Studios is behind the financing, development and production of film and television content at the crossroads between comedy and culture.
HARTBEAT Media works with events, games, music publishing, Web3 initiatives and also runs a distribution network.
PULSE, meanwhile, serves as HARTBEAT’s branded entertainment studio and creative and cultural advice for top brands.
HARTBEAT was represented in the agreement by Bobby Francis / Brand Engine Media, Law Offices of Daryl D. Jones PC, and Ramo Law PC
