Justin Theroux proved that exes can remain friends.

Aniston’s ex-husband Justin Theroux recently shared a cute photo of his rescue dog Kuma, showing off a thoughtful gift he received from her and her pets.

In the Instagram Story post on Wednesday, October 2, Theroux – who adopted Kuma in 2018 – expressed his gratitude for the Horrible bosses gift from the star, writing “Thanks Aunt Jen,” giving the star a sweet nickname. The note was shared alongside a photo of Kuma looking at the camera while Theroux held a special package including Aniston’s first picture book, Clydeo is taking a bite out of life.

The picture book, announced by Aniston, 55, earlier this year, aims to support the Clydeo Fund, a charitable initiative dedicated to providing resources to rescue dogs, helping them find forever homes and benefit from the necessary rehabilitation.

Theroux, 53, and Aniston first met in 2011 when they worked together on the film Fidget. They began officially dating in 2012 and got engaged later that year. After tying the knot in a private ceremony in 2015, the couple spent a few years together before announcing their separation in 2018. “This decision was made mutually and lovingly at the end of last year. Despite their breakup, they maintained a strong friendship over the years and continued to support each other. Both have spoken about how important it is for them to stay in touch, with Theroux expressing his protective feelings towards the actress in a recent interview with The times.
