Wilco delivered night three of five at New York City’s United Palace Theater as part of their run celebrating the 20th anniversary of their landmark album Yankee Hotel Foxtrot on Sunday. Along with a complete performance of the LP, the Chicago band continued to mine rarities from the era with a bust out of “The Good Part.”

Along with a sequential presentation of YHF, the past three nights have seen Wilco delving into outtakes and rarities. Friday saw the band dusting off a trio of songs as well as honoring late former member Jay Bennett while Saturday boasted an unshelving of “Cars Can’t Escape,” which appeared on the band’s 2014 compilation Alpha Mike Foxtrot: Rare Tracks 1994–2014.

Also appearing on Alpha Mike Foxtrot is “The Good Part.” Wilco last played the song nearly eight years ago on December 12, 2014 in their hometown of Chicago, as per Setlist.FM stats. Additionally, the band performed the “War On War” b-side on December 6, 2014 in Chicago, which itself was an eight-year bust out.

The most recent performance of “The Good Part” came during the eight-song encore following YHF alongside previous bust outs like the cover of Bill Fay’s “Be Not So Fearful” as well as original rarities including the aforementioned “Cars Can’t Escape,” “Pieholden Suite” and “A Magazine Called Sunset.” The band concluded as they did on Saturday with tracks from their 1996 LP, Being There“I Got You (At The End Of The Century)” and “Outtasite (Outta Mind).”

For the Yankee Hotel Foxtrot performance on Sunday, Wilco once again welcomed the Aizuri Quartet string section and the Total Pros Horns including Trey Anastasio Band trombonist Natalie Cressman.
