A woman died after a collision in Sunnyvale on Oct. 30, according to a news release from the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety.
The two-vehicle collision occurred in the area of El Camino Real and Cezanne Drive, police said. Sunnyvale DPS and firefighters responded to the incident at 11:33 a.m.
One of the drivers was seriously injured in the crash and a passenger in the second car suffered minor injuries, authorities said. Both were taken to Santa Clara Valley Medical Center.
The driver died from her injuries while in hospital.
Police do not believe speed or alcohol were factors in the crash.
The incident is being investigated by the Sunnyvale DPS Major Accident Investigation Team. Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact Investigator J. Montgomery at (408) 730-7109.
