Woman Saves Kitten, Makes Shocking Revelation While Packing For Vacation

A woman has revealed her surprise after packing more stuff for her kitten’s overnight stay than she did for her own trip.

New cat mom (@thotsbefore30) unexpectedly adopted an orange kitten she found in a bush four days ago and had already planned a family trip.

“I didn’t expect to find a kitten in a bush four days ago, so I had already planned to go see some family, and I’m leaving little Cheddar.

“So let’s pack up all this stuff,” the cat mom shared in a TikTok video that has garnered 13,800 likes and 143,100 views.

Mom was surprised by how much stuff her six-week-old kitten needed for a sleepover.

“How did I pack more for a kitten than for myself?” she shared in the video caption.

The mother held her kitten in her arms as she revealed everything Cheddar needed for his night, including: food, ear wipes, ear pain relievers, food and water bowls, and safe cleaning wipes.

“Homie can get a little crazy with the litter box sometimes,” the cat mom joked.

She also brought a flea brush. Cheddar has been treated but the owner admitted that there are still a few fleas that appear from time to time so she brushes his coat twice a day.

Finally, the pet owner packed up the most important items: his bed and toys.

The last clip showed the kitten in the car on the way to her first sleepover.

“I’m going to miss you. But you’re going to be good,” the owner said as she affectionately kissed her fur baby goodbye.

Preparing your cat for the night involves making sure he has everything he needs to feel comfortable and safe.

According to Cats Protection, it is essential to take familiar items like their bed and toys, as well as any necessary medications and food.

Owners should provide detailed feeding instructions and report any strange behavior to the sitter. Ensuring your cat has access to its regular litter box and food can help reduce stress.

Familiar smells and routines can help cats adjust more easily to a temporary environment.

Viewers were impressed with the new cat mom’s preparation, but she admitted leaving him behind wasn’t easy.

“It didn’t take long for Cheddar to win your heart and find his forever home. He loves you as much as you love him,” Deb said.

“You are a great cat mom,” Wendy Lee said. “Damn, you are an amazing cat mom,” another user said.

“I thought about him throughout my day of travel, so I would say I’m happy he joined the family,” the cat’s owner admitted.
