A Genshin Impact leak reveals that the recently released Yae Miko might have a couple of changes scheduled for the upcoming update 2.6.
Since her appearance in two Genshin Impact update previews, Yae Miko quickly became a character loved by many. Although there are times when she has her own interests above everyone, she almost always has the region’s best interest in mind.
Genshin Impact update 2.5 added new Electro catalyst named Yae Miko to the playable roster. Even though players seem to be satisfied with her performance in fights, recent leaks have confirmed that she will receive a couple of changes to her Elemental skill.
A credible Genshin Impact leaker named Ubatcha1 has revealed that the recently released Yae Miko will receive some additional changes. Apparently, the Sesshou Sakura she leaves by activating her elemental skill will now prioritize the nearest enemy. The current Sakuras target selection is random which is usually not the way most skills in the game work. These changes will allow Yae Miko’s DPS rotation to be more consistent since players will be able to control the target selection by a certain degree.
Yae Miko’s unique playstyle gives a lot of creative ways to beat down opponents. Although there was a lot of hype around this mysterious character, her fans had to settle with the fact that she’s just a decent character. Her main draw is probably that she’s fairly easy to build as she does not need a specific artifact set. However, the upcoming Genshin Impact updates will most likely bring an artifact set that suits her playstyle.
Previous leaks and rumors have been hinting that Yae is a DPS character, but they were immediately debunked once she officially arrived on the live servers. Players that decided to skip Yae Miko’s banner will have the option to spend their precious Primogems on another strong Electro character. The official live stream for update 2.5 has confirmed that the upcoming Genshin Impact double banner re-run will include two popular Inazuma characters – Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi.
Raiden Shogun is the main antagonist of the whole Inazuma arc, and she currently holds the record for being the most pulled character on a single banner cycle. She’s a machine for generating energy which makes her a must-have for team compositions that have energy problems. One of her main draws is probably that there is not a large difference between her C0 and C6 levels which means that players do not have to spend their Primogems in order to build up Miko’s constellations.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5 with a Switch version in development.
