The City duo miss England’s World Cup qualifier


Manchester United v City – Continental Cup kl

The Continental Cup group game continues, with City taking the short trip to Leigh Sports Village for a long-awaited derby showdown with Manchester United.

Gareth Taylor’s team will try to build on our impressive victories over Everton and Durham in our first two group matches.

It’s also our second trip to United in as many months, with the sides sharing the derby in a 2-2 draw in last month’s FA Women’s Super League showdown.


The match starts at 19.00 and you will be able to follow all the action live on our Twitter account @ManCityWomen.

A match report and post-match reaction will be available from full time with match highlights and a full match repeat following from noon on Thursday.

Women’s team

The FA launches a three-year strategy to highlight ambitions for growing women’s professional games


Focusing on this weekend’s return to Premier League action, City manager Pep Guardiola will address the media ahead of Sunday’s Etihad clash with Everton.

Guardiola’s press conference starts around 13.30 and you can follow it live on and our official app. A written review and video recap will be available shortly after.

It really is a super Saturday with a triple header for lunch for our ladies, EDS and U18 teams.

First and foremost, the focus is largely on Gareth Taylor’s side, as City host Aston Villa in the FA Women’s Super League.

Meanwhile, Brian Barry-Murphy’s Elite Development Squad travels to London to tackle West Ham United U23s in our latest PL2 assignment, with the kick-off set for at.

City vs. Everton – Premier League at

A busy weekend is rounded off with a lot of training focused on our first team, which returns to the Premier League with a home showdown against Rafa Benitez ‘Everton.

Kick-off at Etihad is scheduled for at. 14.00, where the match is broadcast live on Sky.
